The GE DS200SHVIG1BGD is a specialized SCR High-Voltage Interface Board designed for GE’s Mark V Turbine Control System—a legacy platform widely used in managing wind, gas, and steam turbine automated drives, and one of the final GE Mark series to integrate the patented Speedtronic control technology.
Its core role is to act as a critical interface between the system’s SCR bridge and key drive components. It processes voltage signals ranging from -500 mV to 500 mV, converting them into differential frequencies that are transmitted to the drive’s power supply for further processing.
Hardware-wise, it includes 17 user-configurable jumpers (each paired with 10:1 current transformers) to add customized attenuation for voltages, plus three on-board LED indicators that alert operators to blown filter fuses. It also features Mark V-standard voltage-limiting components (capacitors, resistors, diodes, specialized ICs) for reliable voltage suppression.
